LFTC Club Camp 2026 — The Pink Edition

2–9 May 2026 | Castiglione della Pescaia, Tuscany, Italy
Train Hard. Recover Beautifully.”

Club camp is a tradition Since 2016

Join us for the 2026 edition of the London Fields Triathlon Club camp — a week of focused training, great company, and proper Italian living.

This year, we’re heading to Castiglione della Pescaia, the pearl of the Maremma, set on Tuscany’s unspoiled coast. Expect open-water swims in the Tyrrhenian Sea, bike rides through pine forests and olive groves, and runs along shaded trails that roll between the sea and medieval towns.

The camp is open to all LFTC members — whether you’re chasing new PBs or simply want a week of sunshine, fitness, and camaraderie.

 FAQs

  • A typical day starts with an early-morning swim — either in the pool or the Tyrrhenian Sea — followed by breakfast at the hotel.
We then head out for a group bike ride, usually with multiple pace groups. Some members add a short run after the ride, and there may be optional technique, strength, or recovery sessions later in the day.

The camp is suitable for all levels, and our “no one left behind” principle still applies on every ride.

Our 2026 cycling routes offer a blend of coastal flats, pine forest roads, and rolling Maremma climbs.

  • Full camp details (dates, pricing, room options, and booking link) will be shared with members in at the end of November.
To secure your place, you’ll pay a deposit via the link provided. It’s first come, first served, and spots usually sell out within an hour — so be quick!

Your LFTC membership for 2026 will be automatically renewed in January, and the £15 membership fee will be added to the Club Camp payment taken at that time.

Members are responsible for booking their own travel to Tuscany, while the camp coordinators organise the hotel, bike hire, meals, and local logistics.

  • Yes! If you have a bike box, you’re welcome to bring your own bike. The resort has a secure bike room and mechanic support.

  • Not at all. Training is tailored to all abilities — from beginners to seasoned racers.
We always ride in groups matched by pace, and nobody gets dropped. You choose which sessions to join and how hard to push.

  • Yes — breakfast is included and served at the hotel. You’ll be well-fuelled for a morning ride or a long training day. We won’t judge if you craft your own cycling snacks from the buffet.

  • Lunch is not included — most of us are out on the bike anyway! You’ll have plenty of chances to grab a snack or stop for food during the ride.

Dinner is usually taken together at the hotel. For the 2026 camp, half-board (breakfast + dinner)is included, with water and coffee provided. Dietary requirements can be accommodated.

  • Absolutely. The camp is as much about the community as the training. Expect group dinners, sunset drinks, beach time, and plenty of laughs throughout the week.

  • Yes — all levels are welcome. Sessions can be adjusted, and coaches and members are always around to support you.
If you’re nervous about one discipline, Tuscany is a great place to build confidence.

  • You’ll book your own flight, but we’ll provide recommended flight options closer to the time.
Most members fly into Florence, Pisa, or Rome.

Transfers from the airport to the hotel can be arranged depending on group arrival times, or you can organise a private transfer or hire a car.

Whether you arrive with the group or travel independently, reaching Castiglione della Pescaia is smooth and scenic.

  • The camp usually sells out quickly, so priority goes to LFTC members.
If spaces remain, we may be able to accommodate non-training partners or friends — but this isn’t guaranteed. Please check with the organisers.

  • You can join for part of the week, but we strongly encourage staying for the full 7 days to get the most out of the training and the group experience.

  • Yes! Members often organise training trips throughout the year — La Santa is always popular in the off-season — and informal weekends away happen regularly.
Keep an eye on Discord and the newsletter for upcoming opportunities.
